City Hosting 2024 KDMA Conference

The City of Kenora is excited to host the 2024 Kenora District Municipal Association (KDMA) Conference from February 8 to 10, 2024. The KDMA Conference is a great opportunity for municipal leaders to come together and engage in meaningful conversations about shared experiences and issues affecting municipalities in the District.

The KDMA represents nine municipalities in the region: City of Dryden, City of Kenora, Municipality of Machin, Municipality of Red Lake, Municipality of Sioux Lookout,

Council Approves 2024 Municipal Ten Year Capital Budget

On December 20, Council approved the 2024 capital budget. The budget includes a number of critical projects initiated by staff, Council and community input. Planned capital investment for 2024 is $17.7 million with a ten-year projected amount of $141.1 million, including Utilities.
