City Invests in Online Service Request Tool

The City of Kenora has invested in a new self-reporting online tool putting customer service at the forefront of service delivery.
The new self-reporting tool allows citizens to submit a Request for Service through Kenora.ca. The Citizen Request Portal is an online form where residents can log their requests for a specific service need or notify a City department that a scheduled service was not provided on time. Request types include:
- animal control,
- missed garbage and recycling pick-up,
- snow plowing,
Fire Ban Lifted

Please be advised the City-wide fire ban is lifted as of Tuesday, July 11, at 3:00 p.m. This follows the announcement from the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry (MNRF) ending the Restricted Fire Zone for the northwest region.
Although the fire ban has been lifted, conditions remain dry, and residents are strongly encouraged to burn responsibly and safely with extreme caution.

Municipal Accommodation Tax Supports Ski Trail Project

Last week, Mayor and Council presented the Kenora Nordic and Biathlon Club with a financial contribution from the Municipal Accommodation Tax for a project to enhance the use of the cross-country ski trails at Mount Evergreen.
