Snow Removal Seventh Avenue South

Please be advised that snow removal operations will take place on Seventh Avenue South from Second Street South to Fifth Street South on Tuesday, February 4, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
The work plan may be adjusted if there are weather changes or if emergencies and other snow event priorities develop.
Signs will be posted in the snow removal area to indicate ‘No Parking’ zones. Vehicles parked in a signed snow removal zone may be ticketed and towed at the owner’s expense.

Snow Removal Fourth Avenue South, Lakeside Area

Please be advised that snow removal operations will take place on Fourth Avenue South between Fifth Street South and Lakeside Crescent on Tuesday, January 21, and Wednesday, January 22, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Once that area is complete, crews will continue snow removal in lakeside for the next two weeks.
The work plan may be adjusted if there are weather changes or if emergencies and other snow event priorities develop.

Council Regular Meeting January Date Change

Please be advised that City of Kenora Council will hold its January Council regular meeting on Wednesday, January 22, at 5:00 p.m. rather than on the third Tuesday of this month.
The meeting date change is to accommodate members of Council attending the Rural Ontario Municipal Association conference.

Mayor Poirier along with Councillors Bernie and Manson and City CAO Kyle Attanasio will join more than 1,600 participants from across the province at the 2025 Rural Ontario Municipal Association (ROMA) Conference. The conference is being held in downtown Toronto, from January 19 to 21, 2025.
