On Monday, May 19, the Lake of the Woods Discovery Centre is open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
All other City buildings and facilities are closed, including the Transfer Station, Kenora Public Library, The Muse, Operations Centre, City Hall, Bowman Electric Keewatin Memorial Arena, and Moncrief Construction Sports Centre.
The Wave, microtransit service, does not operate on the holiday.
Coney Island recycle and waste collection starts Tuesday, May 20.
Emergency services on duty as usual.

From May 13 to May 22, 2025, TC Energy will be running Blowdowns as part of a maintenance project between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m. This project could increase noise and traffic at the facilities.In case of a pipeline emergency, call 1-888-982-7222.

Please be advised that Coker Road from Kelly Road to the east side of Rice Bay will be closed tomorrow, Friday, May 9, due to the increasing water Level on Black Sturgeon Lake, specifically Rice Bay. The closure affects all vehicle and pedestrian traffic.
The closure ensures the integrity of the road is maintained by preventing significant damage that could occur if travel on the Coker Road were to continue during this high water period.
