The Lake of the Woods Cemetery is now accepting orders for ice candles for the 26th Annual Ice Candle Festival of Lights. Orders are accepted until Friday, December 6, 2024.

Fourth Avenue South Road Closure

Please be advised that Fourth Avenue South between Second Street South and Third Street South will be closed for hydro pole work on Tuesday, November 5, and Wednesday, November 6, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
The back lane to the east of Fourth Avenue South will remain open.

Ditching Work on Essex Road

Please be advised that ditching work will be carried out on Essex Road between School Road and 1475 Essex Road starting on Tuesday, November 5, for up to two weeks.
There may be traffic delays. Motorists and pedestrians are reminded to obey the signs and traffic controls. Use caution when heavy equipment is working.

Third Street North Area Water Service Restored

Please be advised that the water repair on Third Street North is complete and water service has been restored.
Residents experiencing any discoloration or flow issues, are asked to follow these steps:
- Discoloration: Run the water until it clears.
- Sputtering: Turn on all hot and cold faucets to eliminate air pockets.
- Low Flow: Remove the faucet screen, clear any obstructions, and reinstall it.
