First Street South Temporary Closure

Please be advised that First Street South from Seventh Avenue South to Eighth Avenue South will be closed to all traffic from Tuesday, August 19, at 9:00 a.m. to Sunday, August 24, at 4:00 p.m. to accommodate the set-up and operation of the Kenora Agricultural Fair

Curbside Collection Delayed or Suspended for Friday Route

Please be advised that due to extreme weather conditions, recycling and garbage curbside collection for the Friday route, including Rideout, Valley Drive, Pinecrest, and JM North of the by-pass, will be delayed today, August 8, 2025. 

If the weather subsides, we will attempt to collect along the route later today; otherwise, the collection service will be suspended until next Friday.

Water Delivery Temporary Schedule Change Week of August 11, 2025

Please be advised that the water delivery schedule for the week of August 11 has been temporarily changed as follows:·        

• Deliveries will occur on Monday, August 11, Tuesday, August 12, and Friday, August 15. 

• There will be no deliveries on Wednesday, August 13, and Thursday, August 14.

We encourage our customers to plan accordingly to ensure their water needs are met during this week.

Low Water Pressure for Ninth Street North Project Area

Please be advised that due to the ongoing watermain reconstruction work on Ninth Street North, residents in the North End neighborhood on Third Street North, Fourth Street North, and Fifth Street North may experience low water pressure on Tuesday, August 5. 

Residents are asked to minimize water usage during the day where possible.
