The City’s Fire and Emergency Services is participating in Take Action on Radon’s ‘100 Radon Test Kit Challenge’ and is encouraging Kenora residents to test their homes for radon. We have 100 free radon test kits available to give away to residents.

Rabbit Lake Road Community Safety Zone Extended

Please be advised that the Community Safety Zone on Rabbit Lake Road has been extended, and the speed limit has been reduced, from Valley Drive heading west on Rabbit Lake Road for 2.3 kilometers.
The speed limit within the Community Safety Zone is 40 kilometers per hour.
Signs are posted alerting motorists of the new speed limit in the area.

Keewatin Seasonal Water Service Shut-off

Please be advised that beginning on Monday, October 21, we will start the process of turning off water service to seasonal customers in Keewatin.
This work is weather-dependent. The shut-off process could start earlier if there are freezing temperatures.
