City Announces Closures Adhering to Provincial Lockdown

As a result of the province wide shutdown, the City of Kenora is preparing for closures and modified service levels effective December 24, 2020. The following City services will operate as follows:
- City Hall – Closed, with limited services by calling 807-467-2000
- Kenora Recreation Centre – Closed
- Keewatin Memorial Arena – Closed
- The Muse (Lake of the Woods Museum/Douglas Family Art Centre) – Closed
- Operations Centre – Closed, with limited services by calling staff directly

Snow Removal Keewatin January 19, 2021

Please be advised snow removal will take place in Keewatin beginning on Tuesday, January 19. Operations will start with May Avenue, Ottawa Street, and 6th Street (Keewatin Public School), and move to 8th Street (St. Louis School), Government Road, Beach Road, and Bay Street later in the week.
Signs will be posted in the snow removal area to indicate ‘No Parking’ zones. Vehicles parked in a signed snow removal zone may be ticketed and/or towed at the owner’s expense.

Notice to tax payers of the City of Kenora
2021 Interim Tax Bills will be sent out by mail on Friday, January 15, 2021 for all City of Kenora property owners.
Due date for payment is Thursday, February 25, 2021.
Payments may be made by dropping off at City Hall, by mail, through your personal telephone banking, or on-line banking service. Please allow 3-5 business days if paying on-line or directly at your financial institution.

Snow Removal Valley Drive January 13 and 14, 2021

Please be advised snow removal will take place along Valley Drive starting from Houghton Road working towards Airport Road on Wednesday, January 13 and Thursday, January 14.
Signs will be posted in the snow removal area to indicate ‘No Parking’ zones. Vehicles parked in a signed snow removal zone may be ticketed and/or towed at the owner’s expense.
