Please be advised that Matheson Street South from the corner of Matheson Street South for approximately 50 meters east on First Avenue South will be closed to all traffic on Friday, December 19, 2025.

The City is excited to provide an update on its application to be the host community for the first season of Home Town Takeover Canada. This upcoming season will film in 2026 and include a transformation period where HGTV designers and builders renovate homes, businesses, and public spaces in a chosen community of under 20,000 people.

Residential recycle blue box programs in Ontario are moving to a new collection system that is fully funded by producers of recycling materials. Starting in January, Kenora will transition to an enhanced recycling system managed by Circular Materials. Recycling will be even more convenient with your new recycling cart.
