The pool at the Moncrief Construction Sports Centre, including the tot pool, hot tub, and sauna, will be closed on Thursday, September 25, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. for staff training.

This province-wide initiative is a reminder for all residents to test their smoke alarms and ensure they are in working order, a small action that can make a life-saving difference.
City of Kenora invites all interested persons to attend a Special Meeting of Council on October 3, 2025, at 9:00 a.m., to consider a By-law to Stop Up, Close, Surplus and Sell a portion of an undeveloped road allowance identified as Cross Street on Plan M25 and Sell certain lands within the municipality. File: L07-25-02, Location: Portion of Cross Street.
Second Street South approaching Main Street South and the adjacent sidewalk will be closed on Sunday, September 14 and Monday, September 15. Traffic will be redirected to use the center lane on Second Street South.
Please be advised that site preparation for the Keewatin Channel Bridge steel recoating and repair project will begin the week of September 15, 2025. Work includes clearing space around the bridge landings, as well as beneath the bridge, to allow for equipment and materials staging and setup. No traffic interruptions are anticipated, and the waterways will not be affected by these preparation activities.
The City of Kenora is pleased to announce that upgrades at the busy intersection of Ninth Street North and Twelfth Avenue North are now complete, and the road reopened in time for the first day of school.
The City of Kenora is thrilled to celebrate the success of this year’s Youth Enterprise Day Camp, held Monday, August 18 through Friday, August 22, 2025. Hosted and facilitated by the City’s Economic Development Department, the week-long program brought 13 dedicated youths together to learn about entrepreneurship.
